PURPOSE:To inspect the vicinity of the seam part of an electroforming pipe by allowing the slide shaft, which was provided between a lift mechanism and a frame, to follow the positional shift of the electroforming pipe. CONSTITUTION:When an electroforming pipe 1 is set below this inspection apparatus, a housing 24 is contacted with the outer surface of the electroforming pipe 1. A seam sensor 9 detects a seam part S and sends a detection signal to a control apparatus 20 and drives a drive apparatus 9 to move a frame 10 to a D- or D'-direction while a sensor head 3 inspects the predetermined position in the vicinity of the seam part S. When the position of the first electroforming pipe 1 was moved to a G- or G'-direction, a parallel link mechanism 4 and a lift mechanism 5 are slid on a slide shaft 21 and a second electroforming pipe 1 moves to a Q or Q'-direction and, when the seam part S of a third electroforming pipe 1 moved to an N- or N'-direction, the seam sensor 19 detects the seam part S and the drive apparatus 9 is driven to perform setting while the sensor head 3 is allowed to follow the predetermined position in the vicinity of the seam part S of the electroforming pipe 1. |
