PURPOSE:To reduce operation space and increase the capacity of the toner recovery container which is inserted into and extracted from a cylinder body in its axial direction by producing a toner flowing-down state and a toner flowing- down stop state through the turning of the toner recovery container. CONSTITUTION:The cylinder body 20 has a small hole (d) where a swivel shaft 17 is supported pivotally in the center of the bottom part, a toner flowing-out port (2nd flowing-down port) (c) of the same size with the 1st flowing-down port (b) is formed in the cylinder wall at the bottom part side, and a small hole (e) is further formed near the step of the internal surface. The width of the toner recovery container 9 in the axial direction of the cylinder body 20 is larger than the opening width of the 1st and the 2nd flowing-down ports (b) and (c) and holes 26a and 26b where the cylinder body 20 and a swelling streak member 22 are fitted are formed. The cylinder body 20 is switched into the 2nd state B while the 1st and the 2nd flowing-down ports (b) and (c) face the internal space of the toner recovery container 19, so no residual toner in a transport conduit 18 scatters into the machine. When the toner recovery container 19 is turned, toner falls to the opposite side of a toner recovery part and comes out of neither of insertion holes 26a and 26b in an extraction state. |
