PURPOSE:To sink easily in an underground poor subsoil a bottomed columnar bag pile packed with sand from above by lowering the bag pile along the interior of a casing, the bottom and its adjacent part of the bag pile being formed of a non-permeable, elastic material. CONSTITUTION:After driving a casing 1 into an underwater poor subsoil, a columnar sand bag 9 packed with sand S from above is loaded into the casing interior, at least the bottom and its adjacent part of the sand bag being formed of a non-permeable, elastic material 12, wherein subsequently, the columnar sand-packed bag pile is lowered, along the casing interior, down to the bottom 2 of the casing while draining from a drain pipe 18 in-casing water with the surface located below the bag pile, and thereafter, the casing is pulled out with said bag pile left sunk in the underwater poor subsoil, whereby with the bottom of said bag pile formed of a non-permeable, elastic material as referred to above, it becomes unnecessary to provide a partition between the surface of in-casing water and the columnar sand-packed bag pile, thereby it becomes easy to sink a columnar sand-packed bag pile in an underwater poor subsoil. |
