The invention relates to a concealment screen in the form of a plate which matches the size of the front surface of a cassette recorder which is to be installed in a motor vehicle. On the rear of the said concealment screen is situated a fixedly mounted plug-in part which acts as a mounting and has the same cross- section as a cassette tape, so that it can be inserted into the cassette insertion slot of a cassette recorder, in order to keep the concealment screen in front of the cassette recorder which is to be protected against theft.
