ROTATION SPEED MEASURING APPARATUS

摘要

A closed light path is traversed by two light beams passed in opposite direction. The beams are then superimposed and their phase shift evaluated. The light path is provided by a light conductor embedded in a setting material which damps out external sound waves. A highly uniform temp. distribution is set up along the light conductor owing to the nature of the setting material.
