PURPOSE:To feed a microstep at a high speed while avoiding a stepout by obtaining the exciting current of each motor coil for holding position of an arriving target from the prescribed waveform pattern. CONSTITUTION:The time of an exciting step is obtained to the target position by a microprocessor unit 28, and stored in a data memory 36. Then, the current values corresponding to the times are read out from a drive waveform memory nonvolatile memory 32, and output through an output port 26 and D/A converters 22, 24 to a driver 10. Since the driver 10 excites the motor coils by the exciting current from the controller 16, the drive currents of coils A, B are controlled ON or OFF by amplifiers 12, 14 in response to the detected values of drive current detecting resistors 18, 20. |
