PURPOSE:To stop board material reliably at predetermined position without breaking the edge by lowering the speed of board material carried with high speed on first conveyor prior to stop position then further lowering at predetermined position and contacting slowly against a stopper. CONSTITUTION:Unit boards 28, 39 carried through first conveyor with relatively high speed are slowed through second conveyor 3 to approach to a stopper 4 with low speed. Upon detection of approach through detectors 6, 6, air- cylinders 46, 56 are contracted through a detection signal to release holding of unit boards 28, 39 through a rotary roll 41 and a belt 45, a rotary roll 51 and a belt 55 thus to release carrying through the conveyor 3. Then the unit boards 28, 39 are advanced through inertia to contact against the stopper 4 slowly thus to retract the stopper 4 from the carrying path while at the sametime, the air-cylinders 46, 56 are extended to fall down the unit boards 28, 39 forwardly and stack.
