PURPOSE:To normally and stably rotate a rotor under worse environments such as high heat, water or gas by coupling an element for converting an electric input to a supersonic vibration and a rotor for converting a supersonic vibration to a rotary torque by a supersonic wave resonator. CONSTITUTION:Doughnut-shaped piezoelectric ceramic transducers 3, 4 are connected with leads 9, and superposed. Then end of a cap bolt 6 passed to an aluminum washer 5 is inserted to the threaded hole of the bottom of a disk- shaped base 1' of a cantilever vibrator 1 of a rectangular section integrally to form a supersonic twisting elliptical vibrator. A steep rotor 7 is press-bonded by a coupling pipe 7' with the end of the vibrator 1. When two leads 9 are, for example, applied with 38kHz, 70V, the rotor 7 is strongly rotated at approx. 40r/m. The lever 7 is formed in the length of odd number times of 3 or more of the half wavelength of the exciting wavelength. Thus, the rotor is rotated normally under worse environments such as high heat, water or gas, a danger by sparks is removed from the vicinity of the rotor, and used under inflammable environment.
