PURPOSE:To obtain effective paper feeding device which has high reliability and serviceability, by detecting remaining quantity of bank note contained in one of plural cassettes for the same kind of paper money, by transmitting the information, and by feeding the paper money at proper time. CONSTITUTION:When the bank notes P in cassette safes 7 and 8 are taken out corresponding to transactions, a back up body 65 which pressed the group of bank notes P moves to the side of take-out rollers 42 and 47, and when the group of bank notes P is getting fewer, a magnet comes to the position of a near end detector 61, and the near end detector 61 is induced by the magnetic field, and when the bank note becomes perfectly clear an end detector 62 is induced and detects. Next, the end detector detects that the cassette safe 8 becomes vacant, and a control section 5 moves bank note taking-out from the cassette safe 8 to the cassette safe 7, thus transactions are continued. Here, the control section 5 transmits informations such as vacancy of the cassette safe 8, or impossibility of taking-out due to jamming of bank note, to a remote observation center, which takes measures to meet the bank note preparation for the cassette safe 8. |
