PURPOSE:To provide a polymer compsn. having improved heat and wax remover resistances and useful as a material for the production of an encapsulated window, consisting of an ethylene-alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid copolymer and a polyamide resin. CONSTITUTION:A polymer compsn. consists of 90-50pts.wt. ethylene-alpha,beta- unsaturated carboxylic acid copolymer and 10-50pts.wt. polyamide resin. The compsn. is injected into the periphery of an automotive window glass which has been previously inserted into the mold of an injection molding machine, and an encapsulated window is molded in an integral molding process. Preferred examples of the ethylene-alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid copolymers are those obtd. by bulk-polymerizing ethylene and an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid or its ester in the presence of an org. peroxide.
