PURPOSE:To prevent the burning of a bearing by forming an oil feeding hole for feeding pressure oil on the bearing section between the occurrence direction of the unbalanced load caused by the one-jet operation of a Pelton turbine and a position advanced by a predetermined rotating angle from there. CONSTITUTION:A Pelton turbine rotatably supports a main shaft 2 with a cylindrical bearing 7 installed at a fine gap with the main shaft 2, and the bearing 7 is submerged in an oil tank 3 provided with a cooler 4. Four runners 5 are fitted in one body with the lower end of the main shaft 2 and rotate the main shaft 2 with the pressure water sprayed through a nozzle 6. In this case, an oil feeding hole 8 is provided on the bearing 7 between the direction applied with the pressure water from the nozzle 6 and a position advanced by about 60 deg. in the rotating direction from there. Pressure oil is fed to the oil feeding hole 8 from a lubricating oil feeding mechanism 9 including an oil conveyor 10 and a control unit 16 when the unbalanced load occurring during the one-jet operation occurs, and the oil film load capability is increased. |
