PURPOSE:To perform excellent transfer operation even during high-speed recording and high-humidity recording by using toner formed by mixing conductive magnetic toner specified and friction electrostatic charging type high-resistance toner which both have resistivity specified. CONSTITUTION:Transfer to an insulating recording body 3 is performed by using the mixed toner consisting of the conductive magnetic toner 41 which has 10<2>-10<7>OMEGA.cm and the friction electrostatic charging type high-resistance toner 42 which has >=10<14>OMEGA.cm toner resistivity and is charged to a specific polarity by friction against the periphery in an image forming process. In this case, the 95-40wt% toner 41 and 5-60wt% toner 42 are mixed and the resistance value of the mixed toner is 10<3>-10<7>OMEGA.cm. Thus, excellent transfer is performed even in high-speed recording and high-humidity recording.
