PURPOSE:To enable fast deburring without the possibility of damaging the molded portion and lead piece, and without a requiring a process such as waste liquor disposal, by blowing a low-temperature gas such as liquefied nitrogen or liquefied air after the molding of the molded portion, and thereafter blowing air. CONSTITUTION:In a pair of covers 7, 7, upper and lower, a low-temperature gas such as liquefied nitrogen, liquefied air or liquefied is blown from nozzles 8, 8. As a result, a very thin film flash formed around a molded portion 5 becomes extremely fragile. When air is blown with an air blow nozzle 9 positioned ahead of the place for blowing the low-temperature gas by an appropriate distance L to the direction of conveying a lead frame 1, the burrs are blown off and removed. If a vacuum suction nozzle 10 is provided at the position opposed to the air blow nozzle 9, the deburring efficiency improves. |
