PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive body superior in triboelectrification characteristics and photosensitivity, small in deterioration in various characteristics due to repeated cycles of electrostatic charging and exposure and easy in film formation by incorporating at least one of hydrazone compds. represented by the specific formula in a photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive body is composed of the three layers structure of at least a conductive substrate, e.g., made of the thin cylindrical plate of brass, aluminum, or the like, and a charge generating layer formed by the spin coating method or the like, e.g., using Se or its alloy, and a charge transfer layer. It is prepared by incorporating at least one kind of hydrazone compds. represented by the formula shown on the right, R1 being 1-6 C alkyl, R2 being H or the like, (n) being an integer of 1-5, and when (n) is >=2, each of R2 being same or different, thus permitting the variations of triboelectrification capability, photosensitivity, residual potential, etc. to be reduced. |
