PURPOSE:To reinforce a magnetic head core effectively that has a tendency to become small and thin by bonding a reinforcing glass on both sides of the magnetic head core including a through hole of a coil winding window besides peripheral parts. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic head core 1 is stuck between reinforcing glass plates 5a, 5b of wide area. A photoresist film 7 is formed on the glass 5a and exposed from opposite side to obtain a hardened photoresist film 7a. Then, a metallic vapor deposited film 8a is formed. The hardened photoresist film 7a is removed with the metallic vapor deposited film 8a by washing, and the metallic vapor deposited film 8a directly stuck on the glass 5a remains as it is. When glass etching is made from the glass 5a side, glass 5a of parts not protected by the metallic vapor deposited film 8a is removed. By making similar process from the surface (lower face side in the figure) of the glass 5b, a mag netic head core reinforced by glass plates is manufactured. |
