发明名称 COOLING WATER CIRCULATION DEVICE FOR FUEL CELL
摘要 PURPOSE:To protect a cooling pipe in a cell from loading of rust, etc. by bypassing cooling water by means of the second control valve without letting flow into the cooling pipe in the cell at the initial stage of starting-up of the fuel cell, and a predetermined time after the rust and dirt are sufficiently cleaned off from the cooling wafer pipe on the outside of the cell during the above period, opening the first control valves and letting water flow into the cooling pipe in the cell. CONSTITUTION:At the initial stage of a fuel cell 9 starting-up, the first control valves 13a, 13b are closed, the second valve 15 is opened, thereby, cooling water is guided to circulate along the portions except the cell portion 9. With this out-of-cell water circulation of cooling water, rust appearing in cooling water tubes 8a, 8b while the cell 9 is stopped in its operation flows into the water and is well washed out during the water circulation, and a predetermined time intervals after the cooling water quality becomes clean, the first control valves 13a, 13b are opened and the second control valve 15 is closed. The cooling water flow is switched, thereby, into the cooling tube 10 in the fuel cell to cool the cell.
