PURPOSE:To decrease power consumed by one termination resistor to a permissible power by providing a 3dB hybrid to a signal input of the termination resistor so as to branch an inputted microwave large power. CONSTITUTION:Hybrids 5,6,7 are 3dB hybrids dividing equally an inputted microwave power and outputting the result and they constitute in-phase hybrids having respectively phase adjusting resistors 5R, 6R and 7R. For example, a microwave power 3,000[mW] inputted from an input center conductor 2 to the 1st hybrid is outputted while being divided into 1,500[mW] from connection center conductors 2a, 2b respectively, and further divided equally into 750[mW] by the 2nd and 3rd hybrids 6, 7 and outputted from output center conductors 2e, 2f, 2c, 2d. The microwave power 750[mW] inputted from the output center conductors 2c, 2d is consumed respectively at termination resistors 4a-4d. Thus, the system can withstand a large power as large as 4 times the permissible power of each termination resistor with the same input power in comparison with a conventional one termination resistor. |
