PURPOSE:To coat a coating liq. in beads on a supporting body having a rugged surface at high speed and to prevent crawling trouble by specifying the viscosity of the coating liq. on a layer in direct contact with the surface of the supporting body in the titled coating method wherein beads are formed. CONSTITUTION:A supporting body 8 having ruggedness on the surface is continuously traveled at high speed, and the beads of a coating liq. are formed on the surface of the supporting body 8. In this case, the viscosity of a layer 5a in direct contact with the surface of the supporting body 8 is lowered by the coating liq. 5 to be coated on the surface of the supporting body 8, and the viscosity is adjusted to 1-15cp. Dynamic wettability between the supporting body 8 and coating liq. 5 is improved even when the coating is carried out at high speed, hence the coating liq. 5 can be completely intruded into the rugged surface of the supporting body 8, and the generation of the so-called crawling trouble can be effectively prevented.
