PURPOSE:To prevent double printing operations even when contact lever is moved to operating positions immediately after printing by using a system in which the operating lever is set up in such a way that a toggling movement by which the lever is pressed in a rocking manner to a place where it is unable to intrude into the working range of a ratchet wheel by a plate spring can be allowed. CONSTITUTION:By printing command signals for printing operation, an electromagnet 5 is energized, a contact lever 8 is operated, and the operating arm 4a of a printing hammer 4 is struck by the coupling claw 10b of an operating lever 10 to move the hammer 4 for printing. In this case, the operating projection 10a of the lever 10 is moved in rocking manner to the place where it is retracted to outside of the operating range of the ratchet wheel 12 in the direction of B by toggling movement caused by a plate spring 11. The coupling claw 10b of the lever 10 does not connect with the coupling claw 12a of the ratchet wheel 12 even when the projection 10a is moved to the operating positions during the damping vibration of the lever 8. Maloperation with double printing can thus be exactly prevented. |
