PURPOSE:To obtain the titled yarn having improved physical properties, by filtering a spinning stock solution of a flame-retardant acrylic polymer obtained by copolymerizing vinyl chloride, etc. and a spinning stock solution containing a specific polyurethane, joining the, and spinning it through a static type blending agitator. CONSTITUTION:A spinning stock solution containing a flame-retardant acrylic polymer obtained by copolymerizing vinyl chloride and/or vinylidene chloride is fed from the copolymer channel 2 to a spinning device, and a polyurethane solution containing a polyurethane having miscibility with the flame-retardant acrylic polymer in a mixed solution state but no compatibility is fed from the polymer channel 1 to it. Both the polymer solutions are joined just before the first blending element 6, and the blended solution which is divided into >=32 layers of polyurethane solution and blended by the static type blending agitator 13 is spun from the spinneret 12 to a coagulating bath. Hardening and brittleness of fiber are not found even at high shrinkage percentage of >=40%.
