POWER UNIT MOUNTING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To reduce roll rigidity thus to relieve vibration or noise by coupling auxiliary fluid chambers communicatable through a gate valve to the fluid chamber of mounts arranged at the opposite sides of the rotary shaft of power unit. CONSTITUTION:A mount 4 is arranged between the chassis 1 and the brackets 3 projecting approximately in horizontal at the opposite sidefaces of the crank shaft 2a of engine 2. Each mount 4 is constructed by encapsulating non- compressive fluid into a fluid chamber 7 defined by enclosing an opening through the upper face of bottomed tubular case 5 with resilient wall 6 where the fluid chambers 7 are communicated through a conduit 9. Sub-fluid chamber 10 defined by enclosing an opening through the underface of bottomed tubular case 11 with resilient film 12 is arranged on the chassis 1 and communicated through a path 14 to said fluid chamber 7. Said path 14 is arranged with a solenoid valve 15 comprised of a valve body 16 and an electromagnet 17 and controlled with correspondence to the engine operating conditions.
