PURPOSE:To make it possible to know an outgoing level of a subscriber side without waiting for polling out of a center side by producing pseudo data to detect an outgoing level which is sent from a subscriber to a feeder during a fixed period by means of a carrier wave outgoing control in a time of data outgoing level adjustment. CONSTITUTION:A CPU15 produces a data outgoing request signal (RST signal) which prescribes a period needed to outgo the carrier wave. An oscillator 50 consisting of a data modulator 17 oscillates only during a period of RST signals and performs a phase modulation by means of a multiplier 70. This modulation output, first, is sent to an amplifier 80 and then sent to the center side through a bidirectional coupler 11 and feeder cable. On the occasion of data outgoing from a terminal of the subscriber side, a carrier wave for the data outgoing level at the adjustment time is obtainable by driving the oscillator 50 after producing RST signals similarly at the CPU. A pseudo RST signal, for example, is obtainable by utilizing an idle command of a remote controlled sender 20 as well as by controlling the CPU15 by means of a remote controlled receiver 30.
