PURPOSE:To enable a large number of sharp images good in reproducibility of thin lines and gradation to be successively formed by adding a specified org. tin compd. on the surface of a developing charge applying donor, such as a carrier and developing sleeve, for giving electrostatic charge to a toner. CONSTITUTION:The developing charge applying member for giving developing charge to a toner is obtained by dipping the carrier particles, such as iron powder or glass beads, and the developing sleeve in a soln. contg. the org. tin compd. represented by the formula shown on the right, R being aralkyl optionally substd. by a group, such as lower alkyl, halogen, amino, acyl, or aryl, and removing the solvent, and drying it, thus permitting the toner to be uniformly and properly charged by the charge applying member superior in durability and a large number of color images superior in thin line reproducibility and gradation to be formed successively. |
