PURPOSE:To decrease the fatigue feel of a person to be examined and to provide the advantage of a small size by forming a dome to max. 300mm radius of curvature, attaching green light emitting diodes to the visual marks existing spottedly to the dome and forming a layer colored to a dark red purple color on the inside wall surface thereof so that the black spots of the holes for embedding the diodes are made hardly recognizable. CONSTITUTION:The dome 1 having <=300mm, more preferably about 240mm radius of curvature is used. The green light emitting diodes5 are attached to the respective visual marks, 4, 4... except the stationary visual mark 3 of the dome 1. The visual field meter is usually used in a dark room where illumination is made to such an extent as to brighten slightly only the inside wall of the dome. The visual marks which emit the green light are most preferable from the reasons that such marks permit easy viewing by the person to be examined and that the fatigue of the eyes is lessened. The layer 6 colored to the dark red purple color with green as a complementary color is formed on the inside wall surface of the dome 1, by which the disadvantage of the visibility of the holes for embedding the light emitting diode as black spots to the eyes is eliminated. The fatigue feel of the person to be examined with time is thus decreased and the reliability of the inspection result is improved. |
