PURPOSE:To prevent the surface of the rolled paper, etc. from being damaged by arranging a tray so that the free edge of the tray is set close to a crane traveling passage and arranging a cantilever supporting rod onto a storage shelf and installing the supporting members for the both edges of core cylinder which can travel transversely onto the crane. CONSTITUTION:A roller 17 horizontally fitted and supported onto the cantilever supporting rod 8 of a roll tray 4 for warehousing and delivery is set close to a crane traveling passage 2. A crane 1 for warehousing and delivery is opposed to the tray 4, and an elevation carriage 10 is adjusted to the height where the supporting members 14a and 14b for the both edges of a roll core cylinder can advance onto the undersurface of the roll 17. Then, the supporting members 14a and 14b a re advanced onto the undersurface of the roll 17 by extending and contracting the multistage contraction transversely movable body not shown in the figure of a transversely movable apparatus 11 for transferring roll, and the carriage 10 is raised, and the roll 17 is taken onto the supporting members 14a and 14b, and then retreated and raised, and transported onto a prescribed storage shelf, and delivered onto a cantilever supporting rod 6 through reverse operation. With such constitution, the surface of the roll is prevented from being damaged. |
