The invention relates to an impact fuze for a missile in whose forward part a search head is arranged, encased in a cover. In order to avoid adversely affecting the function of the search head 13, 13a, the impact fuze 14 comprises a radiation transmitter 16' and a radiation receiver 18, which are arranged inside the cover 12 such that they are coupled, in radiation terms, by means of radiation reflected on the inner wall 12a of the cover 12. An interruption of the radiation path 17 resulting from destruction of the cover 12 is treated as the response criterion for detonating the impact fuze 14, which thus detonates an explosive capsule arranged in the warhead charge 15. <IMAGE> |
