<p>PURPOSE:To simplify structure by constituting a head chassis driving mechanism which reciprocates through the rotation of a motor and a magnetic tape traveling direction switching mechanism as mechanisms of the same system through a link mechanism. CONSTITUTION:When a gear 68 rotates clockwise through a motor, a sliding lever 72 slides in an Y direction through a lever 70 and a pin 74 abuts on a link 84 to rotate it clockwise. A head chassis 121 moves as shown by an arrow X against a spring together with a driving pin 143 engaging the long-sized hole of the link 84. When the lever 72 further moves in the Y direction, the movable piece of a changeover switch is driven in the Y direction by the driving piece 75b of the lever 72 to change over the switch. When the gear 68 rotates by 90 deg., the driving pin 143 abuts on a playback state detection switch through the link 84 to close the switch. On the other hand, a gear support plate is rotated through the pin 83 of the lever 81 to change the engagement of the gear, changing tape traveling directions.</p> |
