PURPOSE:To prevent brake squeaking by forming a hole or a groove on a slidable contact portion of a shoe of a slidable contact member and by scraping a thermoset layer in slidably contacting. CONSTITUTION:A ring type slidable contact member 5 is fit to fix to an inner peripheral face of a drum 1 by brazing so that a shoe 4 is slidable contacted to the slidable contact member 5 by its expansion, and a hole 6 or a groove made of a notch is formed on a slidable contact portion of the shoe 4 of the slidable contact member 5. Then, a thermoset layer on a lined surface of the shoe 4 is scraped on the hole 6 or the groove edge formed thereon at the time of contacting to the slidable contact member 5, and brake squeaking occured on the thermoset layer can be restrained. |
