PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily perform the attachment and detachment of type wheel while conserving labor for attaching and detaching a card holder, by making the card holder revolvable so as to pass over the type wheel at the replacement time of said type wheel. CONSTITUTION:When a set lever 28 is revolved around the mount shaft 30 and detached from a rear stay 29, a printing part 20 is revolved around a guide shaft 27 in a clockwise direction and moved along a platen 31 while guided by the guide shaft 27. At this time, the appropriate type 23 of a type wheel 22 is selected by a selection motor and successively impinged to the platen 31 by the inpact force of a printing hammer 25 and printing is successively performed to set paper 32. Whenthe type wheel 22 is replaced, the card holder 34 fixed to a ribbon guide 32 revolves so as to pass over the type wheel 22. Whereupon, the ribbon guide 33 and the card holder 34 obstructing the attach ment and detachment of the type wheel 22 are removed from the vicinity of the type wheel 22 and, therefore, replacement becomes easy. |
