PURPOSE:To improve the processing efficiency by using two plating tanks (processing tank) A and B in alternative ways. CONSTITUTION:Works W are transported in a prescribed pitch to a foreprocessing tank M from a loading part 2, in the immersed state into the foreprocessing tanks (m) and M. When the first plating tank A is used, the work W is transported as shown by (a). In other words, the work is transported from the foreprocessing tank M to the first plating tank A, and advances in a prescribed pitch in the first plating tank A and reaches the rear edge of the first plating tank A and then pulled-up. Then, the work W passes over the second plating tank B by the operation of a transfer mechanism and sent into a postprocessing tank N, and is immersed into the postprocessing tanks N and (n) in succession, and transported into an unloading part 23. When the second plating tank is used, the work is transported as shown by (b). Therefore, even when treating liquid in one processing tank is replaced, the treatment can be continued by using the other processing tank, and the processing efficiency can be improved.
