COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING HEMIFORMALS OF PHENOL There are described composites containing from about 20 to about 70 weight percent of a reinforcing material, such as glass, carbon, graphite, or aromatic polyamide fiber, and from about 30 to about 80 weight percent of a thermosetting composition which contains hemiformals of phenol and methylolated phenol and a polymer miscible with the hemiformal.
