PURPOSE:To obtain a laminate of good electrical insulation and high heat and moisture resistance with no need of pretreatment, by lapping specified number of layers of prepreg prepared by impregnating base material with silane coupler- incorporated thermosetting resin to dryness followed by heating under pressure. CONSTITUTION:The objective laminate can be obtained by lapping specified number of layers of prepreg made by impregnating a composition prepared by incorporating (A) a thermosetting resin (e.g., epoxy resin, phenolic resin, melamine resin, polyeser resin) (Blended with filler, colorant, etc., if needed) with (B) >=0.5pt by wt based on 100pts by wt of the resin (solid), of silane coupling agent (for epoxy resin, pref. gamma-glycidoxypropyl trimethoxysilane; in the case of phenolic resin, pref. gamma-aminopropyl triethoxysilane) to dryness followed by heating under pressure.
