PURPOSE:To make the intensity of output beams constant by using a resonator, in which a total reflection mirror is disposed to a mode facing to a diffraction grating, and providing the resonator with a wavelength sweeping means changing an oscillating wavelength. CONSTITUTION:A beam splitter 104 projects one part of laser beams passing through a polarizer 102 to a photodetector 105. On the other hand, signal voltage displaying an output from the photodetector 105, the intensity of laser beams projected from the polarizer 102, is inputted to a control circuit 106, and the circuit 106 compares the voltage and reference voltage, and applies a control signal corresponding to a difference between both voltage to a high-voltage generating circuit 107. The high-voltage generating circuit 107 changes applied voltage to an electro-optic element 101 so as to remove the difference between both voltage. Accordingly, when output voltage from the photodetector 105 at a time when dye laser beams at a predetermined level pass through the beam splitter 104 is set previously as reference voltage, broad dye laser beams having stability with time regarding beam intensity can be obtained.
