PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts by providing fitting holes on both the sides of a front panel, inserting a door spring for energizing spring force at the opening/closing of a door into an insertion shaft formed unitedly with the door, and while elastically deforming the door in the longitudinal direction, fitting pivotally the door to the fitting holes. CONSTITUTION:The fitting holes 26 for fitting the door 25 for closing a cassette loading port 22 at the unused time of a magnetic disk driver are provided on both the sides of the front panel 21. The door spring 27 for applying elasticity to the door 25 is inserted into the insertion shaft 28 unitedly formed on the door 25, and while elastically deforming the door 25 in the longitudinal direction, the door 25 is pivotally fitted to the fitting holes 26. In addition, holding parts 32 for holding the front panel 21 by engaging the front panel 21 with notched parts 31 of both side plates 30 formed unitedly with the chassis 8 are formed unitedly with both the sides.
