PURPOSE:To improve the battery life by sticking a slurried material, to which Sb2O3 is added, to a Pb-Ca base substance while being dried followed by filling normal paste. CONSTITUTION:A slurry composed of lead powder, dilute sulfuric acid and water in the form of Sb2O3 is added to the vicinity of a base substance. Thereby, relatively porous PbSO4 layer is generated on a positive plate due to intervenient Sb so as to maintain electrical contact of the base substance with an active material. Accordingly, a life of the positive plate can be lengthened. |
