Device are described which can play, present or create a content file for enjoyment by the user, for example an audio track, film, image file etc. Devices comprise a sensor to acquire sensor data and a processing unit to create metadata for the content file. The sensor acquires sensor data during the playing, playback or creation of the content file and the processing unit creates metadata comprising data derived from the acquired sensor data and associates this metadata with the content file. Thereby information regarding the circumstances under which the content is enjoyed, played or created can be stored and transferred with the content. A new content file is also described, comprising content and associated metadata comprising data representing sensor data acquired during a previous playing of the content. A method and application packages are also described. |
