PURPOSE:To attain the quick and optional control of the liquid temperature by performing the switch control with the supply control of the liquid so that the liquid pass through both large and small tanks or only the small tank. CONSTITUTION:A liquid temperature controller 100 is connected to a heat exchanger 200 set in an artificial heart/lung circuit via a liquid feed pipe 133 and a liquid absorbing pipe 134. a controller 101 contains a liquid feed temperature setting part 101a and a cooling water tank temperature setting part 101b together with a liquid feed pump 102, a water tank 110 for heating means, water tank 120 for cooling means, solenoid valves 131-132, etc. The tank 120 always stores a prescribed amount of liquid, and the excessive liquid flows into the tank 110 over a barrier. Then the liquid is supplied to the tank 110 in a control mode for rise of the liquid temperature and then to the tank 120 in a control mode for fall of the liquid temperature by means of solenoids 131 and 132 respectively. Thus the temperature of the liquid supplied to the controller 101 is always kept at a prescribed level. |
