PURPOSE:To restrict automatically an incoming call to a pink public telephone set by a collect call by registering a subscriber terminal number of the pink public telephone set to a registration table. CONSTITUTION:An exchange 7 is provided with a subscriber terminal registration table 8 for pink public telephone sets and when the pink public telephone subscriber numbers are registered and the exchange 7 receives a dial number from the operator 3, the registration table 8 is searched. As a result, when the number is not registered, the line of the operator 3 and the incoming subscriber 5 are connected. When the number is registered, the operator 3 can confirm automatically that the subscriber 5 is a pink public telephone subscriber by connecting the line of the operator 3 and a talkie device 6 and the operator 3 informs to a caller 1 that no collect call is possible.
