PURPOSE:In plural layer glass obtained by integrating two sheets plate glass with a sealing material, to reduce coincidence effect and resonance transmission, by using sheets of plate glass having change in thickness. CONSTITUTION:The desiccant-containing spacer 10 is sandwiched between the two sheets of plate glass 6 and 7 having different thickness in the vertical direction, and they are integrated by the sealing materials 8 and 9. Since the distance in which noise travels through the hollow layer of the two sheets of plate glass is different depending upon the direction in change of thickness of plate glass, plural layer glass slightly causing coincidence effect and resonance transmission, having improved sound insulating properties can be produced. |
