PURPOSE:To permit to plait under keeping plaiting angle in constant at all times by a method wherein a floating dice, fitted to the outside of the rubber hose and operating so that a plaiting point comes to a constant point by back tension caused by an air cylinder and the tension of pull-out thread, is used to plait the braided rubber hose. CONSTITUTION:The threads 4, pulled out of braiding bobbins 2, 3 to the upper layer of the rubber hose 1, are plaited at the plaiting point 5 to obtain braiding6. In case the braided rubber hose is pulled in a speed higher than the normal plaiting speed of the braided rubber hose, the plaiting point has a tendency to move into the arrow sign direction in the diagram, however, such movement is precluded by the effect of the air cylinder. On the contrary, in case the braided rubber hose is pulled by a speed lower than the normal plaiting speed of the same,the plaiting point has a tendency to deviate rearwardly, however, such movement is precluded by the effect of the air cylinder. Accordingly, the plaiting speed of braiding comes to the constant point and the plaiting angle may be kept in constant at all times. |
