PURPOSE:To shorten the necessary time for repairing work by applying silver solder welding onto the cut concaved part of a metal mold or the cut part on the periphery of a die hole on the metal mold, thus facilitating polishing and the reformation of the die hole. CONSTITUTION:The cut part 6 on the periphery of a die hole 5 on a metal mold 1 is applied with silver solder welding 3', and said welded part 4' is polished to form flat. Then, the metal mold 1 is installed onto a punching press, and a die hole 5 is formed again onto the welded part 4' by the punching pin 7 of the opposed metal mold 1' through blank punching. The silver solder welding 3 is applied onto the cut concaved part 2 of the metal mold 1, and the welded part 4 is polished to form flat. Polishing is performed easily by sand paper. Therefore, the cut part on the periphery of the die hole or the cut concaved part on the surface of the metal mold can be filled-up by the silver solder welding, and the repaired part is on the equal level to the surface of the metal mold, and a workpiece can be sufficiently supported. |
