<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a digestion apparatus having a structure causing hardly clogging of separation membrane and requiring no backwashing by dividing a digestion tank into an upper section and a lower section by a porous separation membrane and forming an acid fermentation chamber above the separation membrane and a methane fermentation chamber below the membrane. CONSTITUTION:A digestion tank 1 is divided into an upper section and a lower section by a porous separation membrane 2, and an acid fermentation chamber 3 is formed above the membrane 2, and a methane fermentation chamber 4 is formed below the membrane 2 respectively. Org. waste liquid is fed from above the chamber 3 and treated liq. is discharged from the bottom of the chamber 4, and digestion gas is withdrawn from the top of the chamber 3. Further, perforations formed in the membrane 2 are tapered expanding toward below. As the result, clogging of the membrane is caused hardly, so requirement for backwashing is eliminated.</p> |
