PURPOSE:To enlarge the loading area of containers in a hold, by enabling containers to be loaded even in a space below a top side tank within the hold. CONSTITUTION:A ring 14 is elevatably fitted on each of two support strut towers 4 which are provided in a hold 1a, movably in the longitudinal direction of the hold 1a. Further winches 30 are arranged on an upper deck 1b above the towers at predetermined intervals in the direction of movement of the towers, and wires 28 therefrom are led through the elevatable rings 14 after passing through the top side tank 2, and is then locked to a container A1 at the center of the hold to move the container A1 to one side of the hold. Subsequently, the containers are displaced one by one.
