PURPOSE:To improve the versatility of a device by measuring the outside diameter size of a gear to be inspected, adjusting the height and center thereof, chucking the gear, transferring the gear along a rail member, preparing plural pieces of master gears which are different in specifications and inspecting the gear. CONSTITUTION:A movable frame 22 is provided to a supporting frame 23 above a rail member 17 attached onto a base 18. Loader arms 26, 27 and the frame 22 provided to the front and rear ends thereof are made movable back and forth by means of a cylinder 37. A lifting mechanism 12 is provided to a front supporting base 19 of the member 17 and a stop mechanism 13 of the frame 22 is provided to the front end of the frame 23. A work 4 supplied to the member 17 from a chute is received by the arm 26 and the outside diameter size thereof is measured. The work 4 is grasped by the arms 26, 27 and is conveyed forward within the member 17 and is then moved to an inspection position by the chuck mechanism. The height and center of the work 4 are adjusted by the mechanisms 12 and 13 according to the measured results thereof. The work is meshed with one of the preliminarily prepd. master gears and is inspected. |
