PURPOSE:To enable to make a forming mold by directly utilizing a product without making a matrix and impairing the product by a method wherein primary top and bottom forces are made by placing a matrix on plastic material, secondary top and bottom forces are made by transferring the primary top and bottom forces and a set of forming molds is made by transferring the secondary top and bottom forces. CONSTITUTION:A matrix 2 is placed on plastic material 3. Mating surfaces 3a are made on the portion of the surface, on which no matrix is placed, of the plastic material 3. A primary top force 4A is formed by applying molten plastic or the like on the mating surfaces 3a and the matrix 2. The matrix 2 and the primary top force 4A in an integral body are positioned so as to face the surface, from which the plastic material 3 is removed, upward in order to apply releasing agent on said surface and, after that, to form a primary bottom force 4B on said surface. A secondary top force 5A and a secondary bottom force 5B are independently formed by pouring casting material on the primary top forced 4A and the primary bottom force 4B, the mating surfaces of both of which are respectively faced upward. Plated layers 6A and 'b are formed onto the surfaces 12 of the secondary top force 5A and of the secondary bottom force 5B. A set of forming molds are made by independently casting low melting alloy, which serves as back-up materials 7a and &B, on the secondary top force 5A and the secondary bottom force 5B in order to solidify the alloy. At that time, the plated layer is transferred to the surface of the back-up material.
