U-BENDING OF PRESSED ARTICLE

摘要

PURPOSE:To manufacture a U-shaped product having a good corner shape without distortion by pushing down the cushion pad in a die between press- fitting of a punch and flanging strokes to make a space and executing web forming in the final rolling reduction thereby limiting spring-back as desired. CONSTITUTION:The work 30 is curved between the press-fitting of the punch 14 and the flanging 31 stroke to push down the cushion pad 16 in the die 15, by which the space alpha is made. The space alpha is narrowed at the end period of forming to form the web to the prescribed shape. The spring-back of the product is limited as desired to manufacture the U-shaped press product having the good corner shape without distortion. The lowering of the pad 16 may be adjusted by connecting the pad to an upper die by means of a cushion pin 18.
