<p>PURPOSE:To improve the long recording and reproducing characteristics and operability of a multi-channel PCM system sharply by recording conditions such as a tape traveling direction or an SP/LP mode together with an audio signal, and at a reproducing time, automatically switching a system in accordance with the recording conditions. CONSTITUTION:The recording conditions are inputted from an input terminal 13 to a controller 14. A frequency divider, etc. in a servo circuit 15 are switched so as to be matched with the recording conditions, a capstan motor 8 is reversed and its traveling speed is controlled to 1/2. A channel selecting signal K which is a reference signal for signal processing is outputted to an audio processor 17, the recording conditions are sent to an ID signal generator 16 and switches 23, 26 are also controlled so as to be connected to the M sides. Thus, the servo circuit 15 controls the rotation of a cylinder motor 9 by a pulse signal H obtained from magnets 11a, 11b and a pickup head 12 on the basis of an output signal generated from a reference signal generator 25.</p> |
