PURPOSE:To prepare self-adhesive tape which is not influenced by moisture in manufacturing process and has good storability, by applying a specified mixt. containing unsatd. isocyanate with (meth)acryloyl group to a base sheet and irradiating it with active energy ray in the absence of air. CONSTITUTION:A mixt. of (A) (meth)acryloyl group-contg. unsatd. isocyanate, (B) monomer copolymerizable with (A), and (C) isocyanate group-contg. tackifier, is applied to a base sheet and is irradiated with an active energy ray in the absence of air. In practice, preferred (meth)acryloyl group-contg. unsatd. isocyanate is synthesized by addition reaction of a (meth)acryloyl group-contg. unsatd. monoalcohol with a polyvalent isocyanate. Preferred (C) is those which produce polymers having a glass transition point of below 30 deg.C.
