PURPOSE:The titled chemical agent capable of efficiently effecting microwave induction heating up to a relatively high temp., prepd. by incorporating a specified 2-oxazolidinone compd. CONSTITUTION:5-20wt% 2-oxazolidinone compd. of the formula (wherein R1-4 are each H or alkyl; R5 is H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl or hydroxyalkyl) is dissolved in an org. chemical agent such as alcohol, glycol or ketone, or water to obtain a chemical agent 4 for microwave induction heating. A material 5 such as a plastic or ceramic to be heated is immersed in the chemical agent 4 and placed in a microwave radiation chamber 3. A microwave is radiated from a microwave generator 1 via a conduit 2 to heat the material 5 through the chemical agent 4. |
