PURPOSE:To dispense with use of a stripping jig or a hot iron and roller stoppage as well as to make cutting and removal of rolled yarn performable, by installing a rolled yarn cutter in a filament yarn roller, while installing winding detector and a filament yarn sucker for the rolled yarn cut both in the vicinity of the roller. CONSTITUTION:When winding of filament yarn on a roller 1 due to broken yarn or the like of the filament yarn Y rolled on the roller 1 in succession happens, a winding detector 7 detects it and outputs a detection signal of ON. Receiving this signal, a control unit 8 operates a filament yarn cutter 12 and a filament yarn drawer 13 and stops a supply of the filament yarn Y, while it gets feeding power to a heater 21, and since a filament yarn sucker 9 is operated at the specified timing, the filament yarn drawer 13 takes in the filament yarn Y, and on the other hand, when the heater 21 fuses the wound yarn, the filament yarn sucker 9 removes the fused yarn with certainty. And, when removal is all over, the winding detector 7 is turned to OFF whereby the heater 21 and the filament yarn sucker 9 both are turned to OFF as well. Therefore, the roller is able to perform cutting and removal of the wound yarn without stopping the roller, thus any scratches on a roller surface is preventable and, what is more, waste threads are reducible. |
